BestWeb.LK is an annual awards event that recognizes the best .lk domain websites across different categories, celebrating excellence in Sri Lanka’s local web space. This year, mypage.lk partnered with BestWeb.LK 2026 to celebrate something we care deeply about – helping Sri Lankan professionals and businesses build a strong digital presence. As part of the partnership, we launched a special campaign designed to reward early adopters and get more people excited about owning a smart digital profile.
Launching the NFC Card at the Event
BestWeb.LK 2026 was also the stage for something special – the official launch of mypage.lk’s NFC smart business card. Attendees got to see, and try, the card in person for the first time: tapping it against a phone and watching a full digital profile open up instantly, no app required.

The centerpiece of the campaign was simple: the first 100 people to complete their mypage.lk profile during the campaign period received a free NFC smart business card.

For many, it was their first real introduction to the idea of a digital profile that goes beyond a static webpage – something that combines a personal brand page, contact sharing, portfolio links, and now, tap-to-share hardware, all in one place. The conversations gave us a chance to explain the platform in person, answer questions on the spot, and hear directly what people found most exciting – usually the NFC card itself, and how effortless it made sharing their profile compared to a paper business card.
